Cher autograph on a poster

On April 18 a dream I had had for a long time came true. As I was planning my next trip to the USA I decided to attend a show of the American megastar Cher. The Show took place in the hall COLOSSEUM at the hotel CAESAR’S PALACE in Las Vegas. The tickets were bought ahead of time, 6 months before the show, and were delivered to our hotel several days before our arrival in the USA. Along with the tickets to see the show in the VIP-zone, the promoters of the show also gave us 2 original CDs with Cher’s songs for free and reserved for us a table in the NERO restaurant.

We were taken to the concert hall in a limousine. Limousines for Las Vegas are just what metro is for Moscow. After a short dinner, which consisted of Australian lobsters, gigantic shrimps and excellent Italian white wine, we were invited into the hall.

The hall resembled a trans-galactic ship that was rushing forward to the planet of Cher cleaving on its way starry space and galaxies. And then our hall seating 5 thousand people got filled, while our ship had drawn near its target. The lights went out, and the hall got filled with rhythms of music. After another moment the entire hall got still – out of the darkness of the hall a star shuttle carrying Cher dressed as an Egyptian queen was slowly descending to the stage. As soon as the shuttle touched the stage the show immediately began, and everybody plunged into Cher’s versatile world ……..

In remembrance of the show and the wonderful journey into Cher’s world, we were given pictures with Cher’s autograph.
