From January 3rd to January 9th, 2011, a journey to Israel and Jordan will take place. Among the planned events there is an acquaintance with the most ancient city in the world — Jerusalem, its places of note, historical and spiritual heritage. Tasting dishes of Jewish national cuisine. Visiting Eucalyptus Restaurant (Jerusalem) where dishes of Biblical times are cooked. A trip to the Dead Sea, to the place where ancient settlements of Sodom and Gomorra eliminated by God were located. The Dead Sea is also the lowest point on the planet. Rest in one of the oases of the Judean Wilderness. Crossing the Negev Desert and getting acquainted with a seaside city of Eilat. Studying the underwater world of the Red Sea. An excursion to the King Solomon’s mines and the Red Canyon.
A journey to Jordan to the city of Petra. Getting acquainted with the culture and the local traditions of Jordan. Visiting the tomb of Aaron – the high priest and the flesh brother of prophet Moses.
