August 30, 2009 – flying into Bucharest. Acquaintance with the city, places of interest and local cousin. September 1–9 – visiting the Peleş castle – the residency of Romanian Kings. Visiting the Bran Castle – the famous Count Dracula’s castle. “A pilgrim’s trip” to the Sinaia Monastery, a ride upwards on a cable-railway to the Carpathian Mountains to a height of 2,100 m. Acquaintance with Transylvania and Romanian wines. Visiting the city of Timişoara. Crossing the Carpathian Mountains, tasting Romanian cheeses. Visiting the Curtea de Argeş Monastery.
